Occasion campaigns
Holidays and occasions
Upcoming occasions in order: Ramadan, Eid, National Day… each becomes a scheduled campaign in one click, with ready text and a calculated date.
Open the page in the dashboardHow occasions work
The page lists upcoming occasions, soonest first. Each has its calculated date, how many days are left, and the suggested send day before it. Dates are recalculated every time, so Ramadan and both Eids move each year without you doing anything.
Hijri occasions are calculated, while the official date follows the moon sighting, so they carry “Estimated date — confirm it”. The day can move by one.
“Prepare campaign” sends nothing. It creates a draft with ready copy and a calculated date and opens it in the launch wizard, where you pick the template and audience; then it goes through approval like any campaign. If the prep window has gone by, the card says to prepare it manually on a date you choose.
Occasions follow your store's market: a store in Turkish lira sees Turkey's, every other store sees Saudi Arabia's.

Read the “Occasion campaigns” page

- 1“Add your own occasion”: your store's anniversary or any season you run every year.
- 2An occasion card: the date, days left, the send day, and “Prepare campaign”.
From an occasion to a campaign
- 1
Pick the occasion
A card within 14 days has a coloured edge. Check the date if it says “Estimated date”.
- 2
Press “Prepare campaign”
A draft is created and opens in the launch wizard, with the ready copy in its description. Pick an approved template close to that copy, then the audience.
- 3
Confirm and send for approval
“Save as draft and check”, then confirm. It is “Pending approval” until someone with permission approves it, then it sends on its date.
- 4
Or make it repeat every year
Turn on “Prepare it automatically every year” and pick the “Approved template”. Fourteen days before the send day Capi drafts it and notifies you, and you approve it. Without an approved template you get an early warning to prepare one.
- 5
Add your own
“Add your own occasion”: the name, month and day (a Gregorian date that repeats yearly), the icon, “Send before (days)”, and the message. You can use {{customer.name}}.
Season tips
- Prepare the template for each big occasion at least two weeks ahead; Meta's approval can take days.
- For Ramadan, send before it starts, then a second message in the last ten days about Eid gifts — not a message every day.
- Use “Prepare it automatically every year” for the occasions you join every year, so you never miss the date.
- Rewrite the ready copy: customers get the same greeting from dozens of stores, so make yours about your product.
